The National Headache Foundation (NHF) is recognized as a leading advocacy organization for individuals affected by migraines, offering educational initiatives targeted at healthcare professionals specializing in migraine treatment. The Primary Care Migraine program, deemed one of the most extensive educational platforms developed, extends a warm invitation to clinicians. Participation in this program grants access to 2 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) and a complimentary membership to the National Headache Foundation. This initiative equips clinicians with essential tools to effectively manage migraines within the primary care context. The overarching objectives of the program encompass enhancing and streamlining migraine diagnosis, differentiating between migraine and secondary headache disorders, and empowering participants with the knowledge to confidently and accurately recommend suitable acute and preventative therapies.
